Shipping

Orders are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse multiple times per week.

Planters, unframed prints and cushions are shipped via Australia Post with tracking service. Please note that someone must be at the delivery address to sign for the goods or they will be redirected to your local Post Office for pick up. 

Larger and more fragile goods, such as framed artwork, furniture and mirrors are sent via a specialised sensitive freight service. Please allow 5-10 business days for the delivery of these items. All items travelling by carrier are dispatched on the basis that an ‘Authority to Leave’ is in place for every delivery. This means that if no one is at the delivery address to accept and sign for the goods, the carrier has the authority to leave the carton by the main access door or in the safest available location. Middle of Nowhere will not be held liable for missing product if no one is available to sign for the goods.

Please keep in mind that our carrier is not authorised to carry goods up flights of stairs or elevators. If your delivery address is a unit/apartment in a multistorey building, we may need to contact you prior to dispatching your order to confirm that there is a safe place on the ground floor for the goods to be left. If this is not the case, we may request you provide an alternate delivery address.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all products and shipping details are correct prior to finalising their order. Middle of Nowhere is unable to cancel orders where goods have been purchased accidentally. If an order is unable to be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details being provided, the customer will be liable for any expenses incurred in redelivering the order.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Middle of Nowhere is passionate about the quality of our products and values our customers’ satisfaction.

Australian Customers – If you happen to change your mind about your order, we offer exchange on most products within 14 days of the date of purchase, excluding sale or reduced items (including items purchased using a discount code). We cannot offer exchange on framed or unframed prints due to change of mind, as these products are made-to-order.

Exchange will only be accepted on merchandise that is unused, in its original packaging and condition with any swing tags attached.

The customer is responsible for all additional shipping and handling fees relating to the exchange, and will be eligible for an exchange equal to the value of your original purchase price. Please note, as Middle of Nowhere does not have a physical storefront, all returns must be made via Australia Post or courier. Middle of Nowhere can only accept exchange and return enquiries for goods purchased through our online store, not through our retail stockists.

International Customers – Middle of Nowhere is unable to facilitate returns or exchange of goods purchased by customers located outside Australia for change of mind, so please choose carefully.

In the event that you receive incorrect or faulty goods, you must advise us via email within three days of receiving your order.

Middle of Nowhere is unable to accept returns in cases where no prior contact with us has been made and/or the return has not been authorised by us.

Unfortunately, the Middle of Nowhere online store does not offer refunds.
